Message templates for brands

Six messages to copy and adapt. What the ones that get a reply have in common: they are short, they say what they offer, and they demand nothing.

First approach When you do not know the brand

Hello, I am [first name], I post on [platform] about [niche] for a community of [number] followers, mainly in Morocco. I really like [specific piece or collection] and I think it would speak to my community. I am offering [one worn story + one post], which you could also reuse on your own accounts. My engagement rate is [rate] %. I can send examples of my previous posts if that would help. Best regards, [first name]

Follow-up after silence Seven to ten days later, once only

Hello, I am coming back to you about my message of [date] — I know these requests get lost easily. If the timing is not right, just say so and I will get back in touch later in the year. Best regards, [first name]

Quoting your rate When the brand asks for your terms

Hello, Thank you for coming back to me. For [one story + one post] my rate is [amount] MAD, including image rights for your own posts for [duration]. If the budget does not allow it, I can also work on affiliate terms: I charge nothing and am paid on the sales generated. Tell me which suits you. Best regards, [first name]

Offering affiliate terms When the brand has no budget

Hello, I completely understand about the budget. Another way to work together: affiliate. You give me a link or a code, I post, and I am paid only on orders actually placed. You take no risk, and you see exactly what the collaboration brings in. Best regards, [first name]

Declining politely When the product is not you

Hello, Thank you very much for the offer. I would rather decline this time: [short, honest reason — the product does not match what my community wears]. I would be glad to stay in touch for a future collection. Best regards, [first name]

Sending your results After posting, without being asked

Hello, Here are the results of the collaboration: — story: [number] views, [number] clicks — post: [number] likes, [number] comments, [number] shares — [number] orders attributed to my code The questions that came up most were about [size / fabric / delivery time]: that may be useful for your own posts. Looking forward to doing it again, [first name]

What makes the difference
Write short A message that fits in ten lines gets read. One that needs scrolling does not.
Name a specific piece "I love your brand" is visible from a mile away. Citing a piece proves you looked.
Offer before you ask Say what you produce and what the brand gets from it. The rate comes afterwards, once there is interest.
Send results unprompted That is what turns one collaboration into a second one. Almost nobody does it.
Without the prospecting

Prospecting takes time and collects rejections. Affiliate skips the step: the catalogue is already open, you choose what to recommend, and you are paid on sales without writing to anyone.
